The card exchange uses separate available and wanted lists, server-aware game IDs, and public share pages.
Record only cards you are willing to exchange
The exchange has two lists: cards you can offer and cards you want. The available list is not a complete inventory of everything in your account. It is the smaller list of duplicates or cards you are willing to trade, which makes matching easier to understand.
Keep the server and game ID together
A numeric game ID can exist on more than one server, so TataDex keeps the server selection with the ID. This prevents a match from confusing two players who happen to use the same number in different environments. A saved exchange identity is associated with your account and can be marked inactive later.
Understand what a match means
A match compares the cards one player can offer with the other player’s wanted list. It is a discovery tool, not an in-game trade, payment, escrow, or guarantee that another player will respond. Use the public share page to review the lists before contacting a trade partner through your normal game-community channel.
Special card rules still apply
Gold cards can be exchanged for other cards during the game’s permitted exchange window. TataDex displays the relevant timing note next to gold cards so a useful match is not mistaken for an always-open trade. Always confirm the live game rule before arranging a trade.
